Well looking at the weather forecast for our favorite spots in the area is pretty bleak. If you aren't willing to travel pretty far this weekend we recommend hitting a climbing gym that isn't your home one. We've been enjoying 'The Studio' on the weekends when we want a change of scenery and to beat the rain. Also take sometime to write down some goals you have for climbing for this next month or two. Anyways for more indepth crag forecast here we go. Everything that is sandstone rock is definitely off the table, but you might be able to find some rock on Saturday.
Yosemite: Cloudy Saturday, snowy on Sunday, 32-34F.
Donner: Snow all through Saturday and Sunday, 34-36F.
Pinnacles: Showing no rain Saturday and rain most of Sunday, 55-56F.
Mt. St. Helena: Rain most of Saturday and all Sunday, 55-56F.
Mt. Diablo: Wet Sandstone
Castle Rock State Park: Wet Sandstone
Mickey's Beach Area: Saturdayhas rain overnight from Friday till 4am then cloudy until rain again at 6pm, rain all day Sunday, 55F.
Auburn: Rain all day both Saturday and Sunday, 53F.
Our Recommendation: If you have to get on some rock this weekend, the best bet would be Pinnacles but no guarantee. Other spots you might get lucky at but need to watch if the forecast changes is Mickey's Beach Area on Saturday Morning/Early Afternoon.
