This week's gear and beta is quite simple. Getting an early start to the crag is a huge beta break. We've found that the earlier you are on a weekend to the crag the more likely you are to get on the routes you plan to get on as well as allows you to have a longer day on the rock if that's what you want.
You will get more routes in and less wait time for routes to open up. Especially if you are headed to the more beginner friendly crags, where there are tons of groups fighting for the intro routes and REI classes many times will also be vying for the crag. If you get there early yo get the pick of the best routes or ca get on them before anyone else shows up.
This also allows you to get better attempts on any climbs you are projecting as you'll have more daylight to rest and prep for the sends. You can take your time to set up the draws, hangdog through the beta, brush holds and anything else you need. This will be a game changer over just getting one or two burns with foggy beta every time you come to the crag. You'll find yourself sending harder and more often with just showing up more. (If you are looking the best way to write down your project beta look at our climbing journal here on Amazon.)
