Start Pushing Your Limits - Monday Motivation

Short and sweet to the point. You aren't seeing results in the gym, in life and not in climbing because you are staying in your comfort zone. You need to try out the climbs that are above your level in order to get to that level. So, in order to get there be accountable to yourself, to your family and your friends that you are going to start doing that. And go find someone else who needs to do better and drag them along with you for the ride. Then, MAKE SURE TO KEEP TRACK OF YOUR PROGRESS. "What gets managed, gets measured" - Peter Drucker. If you don't keep track of what you climbed over the last week or month or year how will you know how much you've improved and where you can do better? Take action this week and keep a progress journal on all your activities in the gym or on rock this week. If you want the journal based on what we've seen work for us find it here on Amazon(soon to be in stock on the Stone River website). Or use an old notepad or an app on your phone. But do something to keep track of your attempts, what grades you climbed, and beta notes for projects. We promise that if you get in the habit of going into the gym with a game plan and recording the results you will get better. Go climb, have fun and let us know of your results by email here, or on instagram @stoneriverclimbingco.
